CCNA Cloud and CCNA collaboration

CCNA Cloud
As companies increasingly adopt cloud strategies, network and data center professionals need to demonstrate that they have the knowledge and skills to work with public and private clouds. CCNA Cloud certification applies to Cisco-based private and hybrid cloud environments based on their cloud infrastructure technologies: Cisco InterCloud, Unified Compute, Unified Fabric and Unified Storage.

Job titles associated with CCNA Cloud:

Network administrator
Cloud engineer
Cloud architect
It is not uncommon for positions in architecture and security to also prefer CCNA cloud certification. With CCNA cloud certification, your knowledge of the cloud is controlled so you can get a foothold as an engineer or cloud administrator. First, perform basic deployment and support for your Cisco-based cloud solution. You should monitor usage and performance and, if you are experienced, recommend measures to improve cloud efficiency, security and stability. Due to the growing popularity of hybrid cloud configurations, CCNA cloud certification may also be required or preferred for jobs as network administrators and data centers.

CCNA collaboration
CCNA Collaboration certification includes the most important Cisco collaboration solutions: VoIP telephony and video conferencing (Voice over IP). These solutions can be managed independently of each other. It is not necessary to work with a Cisco LAN or WAN. Your CCNA research and development is not required to receive the CCNA collaboration certificate. Of course, it would help, but it is not necessary. You just have to understand the basics of the IP network and the basics of video conferencing and streaming.

Job titles related to CCNA Collaboration:

Collaboration engineer
VoIP engineer
Telecommunications engineer
Unified Communications engineer
The CCNA collaboration certification is primarily intended for VoIP telephony engineers who must design and use video conferencing and IP telephony systems. Other common job titles for this certificate are Unified Communications Engineer and Collaboration Engineer.

To earn your CCNA collaboration, you must pass two exams, the first for Cisco Unified Communications telephony solutions, the second for the functionality of Cisco Voice and Video over IP solutions and the practical implementation of a Cisco video conferencing system.
