What are the requirements for network + renewal?

The CompTIA Network + certification is valid for three years from the date a candidate passes the exam. To renew the certification, a student must earn 30 CEU during the three-year certification lifecycle. If a student does not acquire these CEUs, their certification is no longer valid and will no longer be accepted for new jobs.

The CompTIA CE program enables candidates to renew their certification within three years by participating in training and activities related to the content of the Network Plus certification. However, these activities must meet the following requirements:

When: It is important to complete the activities in a three-year cycle to renew the certification
Relevance: The content of your activities must relate to at least 50% of one or more of the objectives of the Network + exam
Documentation: Documenting the following activities is important to obtain the CEU:
Get related work experience
Publish a book, white paper, article, or blog post
Participate in activities in the IT industry
Complete higher education
Obtaining non-CompTIA IT market certifications
Sometimes a candidate has more than one CompTIA certification, e.g. B. CASP, Security +, A +, PenTest +, Cloud + and so on. In such circumstances, a student does not have to meet the renewal requirements for every certification he has. Instead, they only meet the renewal requirements for certification at the highest level. The low-level certifications are then automatically renewed.
