This will add approximately 89,300 jobs during this period.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Client service associate

The type of company a customer service associate works for will largely determine their duties and responsibilities. However, there are several common core tasks that almost any customer service representative can expect to perform. A review of current job postings identified the following basic responsibilities.

Help customers

One of the primary responsibilities of a customer service representative is to help an organization's customers. This will vary based on the type of business, but it is not uncommon for a customer service representative to regularly communicate with customers via electronic means, written correspondence or telephone. They can discuss the customer's account with them, answer questions or organize meetings. Customer service agents can also handle customer complaints and provide solutions.

Manage your documents

Customer service employees are often asked to update, manage or access customer accounts, transactions, or documents. They can ensure that the client has received all the necessary documentation and that it has been delivered correctly or they can even guide the client through the document itself so that there is no confusion on how to complete it correctly. They can help scan and save documents and can log into accounts to provide customers with updates or information on their latest transactions.

Perform administrative tasks

The customer service employee is also called upon to perform administrative tasks that keep the financial group running smoothly. They can book conference rooms, organize meetings, print reports and materials and any other activities they require. You can also call some customer service representatives for assistance with HR-related tasks, such as payroll and budget services.
